What is hypnotherapy?
In basic terms, hypnosis is a natural occurring state that you can enter into (with or without the help of a Hypnotherapist) this is when the mind is more responsive to suggestions that can change the way you think, feel and or behave.
Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool for creating long-lasting and life-changing results and helps you change habits, lessen symptoms, or treat a variety of conditions. I offer different methods of Hypnotherapy, and these will be discussed with you at your initial ‘informal chat’ session.
How does it work?
A hypnotherapist can guide you into a relaxed ‘trance state’ bypassing your conscious mind to communicate directly with your subconscious mind. This is where our habits, beliefs, thought patterns, and values live. To effect change we have to reach the subconscious mind, and by communicating with the subconscious mind through Hypnotherapy we can offer alternatives – new healthier ways to fulfil the same positive intentions without the old behaviours. Hypnotherapy is a fast-acting listening and talking therapy that combines a variety of tools tailored to the client's personality and needs to achieve a specific outcome.
What is NLP?
Neuro Linguist Programming is a technique of hypnosis, on offer. This technique can provide a way for people to remove self-imposed limitations. It enables people to have a choice over how they feel, their emotions, their behaviours and their physical states. If you change your thinking, you can change your results in business and life.
How does it feel?
You are fully in control under Hypnosis, you are aware of where you are and what is happening around you and if necessary, you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state (although you won’t want to). Most people feel refreshed and relaxed after a session, and 99% of people state they did not want to come back out as it was so relaxing!
